Well, once again I've neglected my blog for months on end- and have probably lost my three loyal readers. Worse than that, I'm once again too lazy to post pictures...someday, someday. It has been about two semesters, I guess, since I last wrote- a testament to my astute powers of communication. Much has happened since my last post, I'm now a senior at NTBI Waukesha and will graduate in May...then life gets interesting!

School has been an amazing time, and I wouldn't trade the last two years for anything! Everyone needs to come through here, for it truly is a transforming time! Future plans lie completely in God's hands, but I hope to be able to stay up in Wisconsin next fall and work, gaining money to hopefully go to the MTC (the next phase of NTM training) in Fall of '09.

I also recently wrecked my knee up a bit, and an MRI tomorrow will decide much of my fate for the next few weeks...I've already been out of work for three weeks because of it, so pray that I can continue to just trust Him for finances etc. And finally, I am dating an amazing girl at school now! Her name's Becca and I am way too blessed! Anyhow, appreciate all the prayer...!

Alas the summer has wound down to its final few days, and it would be no small task to pen all my thoughts concerning my favorite season. It was super cool to be with family a lot, and even to visit somewhat distant relatives up in the northland (Canada).

Due to unforseen circumstances I was only able to work two weeks at camp, and only one was a paying week. Yet God has still been faithful and I am close to meeting my initial payments! (Thanks in large part to my amazingly generous grandparents!) Although it was only two weeks, it was still a huge blessing. I had the opportunity to lead worship at the High School Camp (along with my sister and some friends). That week was so cool, just to see the kids grow, and to have the opportunity to really get into the TRUTH without the distractions of the world. I then counseled at the JR. High week, and that as well was really cool .I had never counseled at camp before, so it was a really fun (and at times challenging) experience. All in all I met a lot of new and really amazing friends there, and hope I have the opportunity to work there again next summer.

So now this leaves me a week away from flying back to Cheeseland, USA. Pray for me as I attend leadership training and serve the students as an R.A. It will be another opportunity to grow and learn so much more about my Jesus. I am super excited for the year ahead and really appreciate all you prayers!

Wow, its been a really long time since I've posted anything! Things are still going amazingly well here, and classes are only getting better and better! I just returned from spring break on the 15th and will post some pictures below. I went to FLorida with four other guys and it was a blast! Hanging out on the beach, playing tennis, swimming, tennis, sun, sun, sun, tennis, sun...you get the picture.

I recently finished up my job at the Family Dollar, and will begin training for the job I'll have next fall: Bus Driving! Yes, I will be driving school bus for the Dairyland Bus Company. Thanks for keeping me in your prayers!

Well, this post will be only some thoughts. I still haven't recharged my camera from when it ran out of battery in the middle of my Christmas break. So, eventually I'll put some more pictures of something on here.

The last three days have been outrageously cold, -14 degree temps with a -30 windchill...yuck. Oh, and a huge answer to prayer. Although if you're reading this you probably already know, or you're my parents. My mom and dad were finally able to get all the paperwork in and this last weekend moved into a new house!! So I get to be like a traumatized little puppy returning to a strange house this summer.

The first block of my sophomore semester is already done!! It is completely outrageous how fast time whirls by, so pray that I'll really make the most of my time here at school. There is so much to learn, and so little time, and I really want to learn as much as possible; but most importantly just fall more in love with Jesus and His Word.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to All!! Two weeks late. Its been really cool to be back home, and go to bed early and wake up late-er (as in 8). Its been really cool having both brothers and their wives around for a couple days, and Arlen and Cynthia are here until February something. But alas, the time is nigh to prepare for departure back to the vicious winter of Wisconsin. It's exciting to start a new semester, and I pray that I would enter it with an attitude of unquenchable thirst for more of the WORD! Anyhow, here are some pictures of the family and stuff.

(Emotionally enriching music plays as voices fade in)...Christmas time, is here...da da daaa, de da...(The suave voice of a tall, dark and handsome narrator begins)...Yes, it's that time of year. Christmas. The time when family gets together and, anyways. It snowed on December 1, and it snowed all day. It was very cold, and wet, and white, and wet. It was the first real snow of this season (the first dusting we got a while back doesnt count). I even had the amazing privilege of playing in it, and trying to sled down the big front hill. The snow was very powdery, however, and we ended up plowing our way down more than speeding. I also found myself at a lack of winter clothing, and proceeded to go out in blue jeans and my good tennis shoes. My leather and suede tennis shoes. Luckily I found out that Converse are, according to my unreliable source, synthetic. They did dry out well in front of our little radiator. I also realize that you probably dont care about the physical well being of my shoes but, I already wrote it and honestly don't feel like erasing it and putting something else in.

Missions Emphasis went pretty well, it was really neat just to hear the heart of both the students and staff. I think everyone was wanting to go to MTC after that. (Oh, just to clarify for my readers. Mostly Clinton. MTC is a combination of both MI and LI. THey got rid of the all the american MI's and everything is now at Missouri and is dubbed MTC. It is a 2 year course. THis is the first year its been this way. I guess Durham is also all-encompassing as well. Just to let you know.) It is about 12 days until I fly for home for Christmas break! Family, rest, sleep, and warm temps here I come!! There are a couple pictures of the snow. I didn't want to go out in the snow and take pictures of the school and stuff, cause it was too cold. So i took three of the same picture out of on of our windows. I'll try and get better ones sometime. Enjoy...

Just a quick update with a few pictures of our newly, partially decorated christmassy room. Quite stirring if you ask me. There only 9 actual days of class left!! Its gone by soo fast! Missions Emphasis is occurring during the next two mornings, and I'm pretty excited to hear from some of the staff and trainees at the MTC (Missionary Training Center...so official sounding) Anways, enjoy...

Well, its been quite awhile since I first posted...obviously. The semester is still flying by, the last block starts monday. Only three and a half weeks until I fly home for Christmas!! Oh, I also finally got a job. I am one of the newest crew members at the world famous distributor of expedient food...McDonalds!! Yeah! These pictures are from a place called "Holy Hill"- a catholic monastery. There is some really nice scenery, yet its so sad to go inside the cathedral, sanctuary thing and see the intense oppression and hopelessness of all the sacraments they must adhere to and perform. So much work and worry for any sort of salvation, and they are still missing the only element, Jesus Christ.

Greetings to all who've wondered what end of the earth I've dropped off of, and those who know and are wondering how that end of the earth is treating me. I decided to start this blog for two reasons: 1) I don't have everyone's email address to send out emails 2) I really didn't feel like writing an email, and this sounded much more fun. So here it is, my official blog. I will make a valiant attempt to keep this current, though I do make no gurantees. So, on to the part that you probably may care about.

I'm up in Waukesha, Wisconsin attending the original campus of the New Tribes Bible Institute. The fourth block (out of five) of classes begins on Monday, and I'm pretty excited to get into these next few classes. It's been really good so far, and I'm still just studying a lot of foundational classes (such as a lot of Old Testament, Hermeneutics- how to study the Bible etc...). The first semester has just flown by, and its crazy to think there is only six weeks left! I've been really busy inbetween classes, work, and homework; in fact I've never been so busy in my life, but it will settle down here for a while since my job ends today (it was a seasonal one). So please be praying that God will provide a new one before too long so that I can make some major payments coming up in the next few months.
